I had the day off today.. I planned on getting some stuff done for my primary lesson and get some stocking stuffers but are car won't start so we have just been hanging out. Super bored. ENJOY!

Christmas Books!

We decided to open 5 Christmas books before Christmas this year! We were going to do it every other day until Christmas Eve. Well we forgot and when she opened the first one she wouldn't even look at it, so yeah here are some pictures of her opening the first one. The others will be opened soon!

Also that night we had PIZZA. Her favorite. She loves it. Both Braxton and I are big pizza eaters also so i am glad she loves it.

This little miss has been quite the diva lately. She has been throwing horrible tantrums every time she doesn't get what she wants.. which is A LOT! If she could live off of candy and Danimals she would be a happy camper but she can't so she isn't very happy. I am hoping it is just a stage. She hates having her diaper changed. She just kicks and screams and every time we are getting ready to go somewhere she just flips out and doesn't want to do anything. Terrible 2's maybe? I don't know but i am ready for that to change. 

We are very excited for Christmas here. We keep all of her presents in the spare bedroom and she is always knocking on the door saying SANTA. She knows there is a little rocking horse in there so she just says "horsey please" over and over again. I am excited to see her face on Christmas day! Also our 5 year wedding anniversary is next weekend and i am so excited to go out with Braxton. Thanks to our lovely friends, we are going to have a weekend to ourselves in St. George. On the agenda is a couples massage and we might go paintballing.. that is what Braxton wants to do! Until then BYE BYE

Life as of lately!

 Now i know why i couldn't keep up with blogging before. We don't have a very exciting life. For me i wake up bright and early (4 am) go to work, come home around noon. Put Adalee down for a nap and sometimes i nap.Wake up make lunch, play play play, make dinner and 9 pm lights out for me. Not very exciting. Every now and again Braxton is home and we actually get to spend time together! We did put up our Christmas tree awhile back. We decided to get a real one this year because i have always wanted to get one! What a pain in the butt! It is always crooked and there are pine needles everywhere. Oh well it is still pretty though.

We did take Adalee to her very first movie. She did really well until the popcorn ran out. We saw Hotel Transylvania in the dollar theater. I thought it was lame so i know why Adalee was bored. We left with about 30 mins left because all she wanted to do was run around. Monsters INC (her favorite) is coming to theaters December 19th and we are going to take her! She better love it!

 We also got to go see the lights at Temple square when Braxton had a day off. It was a lot of fun. A loving lady took a picture of us all together!

Random Thursdays!

Random thoughts!

1. We are currently watching Christmas Vacation and it is the best Christmas movie ever!

2. Adalee say's poop now and i may or may not encourage it.. it just sounds so cute when she says it!

3. I am so ready to get my braces off! It is only 2-5 months longer. Probably 5 months!

4. We took Adalee's binky away about a week ago. Last night she wouldn't sleep so she  has it again. Only in bed though!

5. We had hawaiian haystacks for dinner and it was delicious!

6. I am currently addicted to the show Pretty Little Liars! It is defiantly a teeny bopper show but i love it! Oh and the Halo 4 mountain dew!

7. When i am at work Braxton and Adalee have dance parties.. and for some reason i am not privileged enough to see this happen although i wish i could!

8. I really wish my family was closer! It is hard only seeing them every few years!

9. Adalee is 19 months old now! Where does time go?

10. I might be obsessed with Tom Hardy! I try not think about.. i limit myself to 5 thoughts a day.  

Some thoughts.

 It has kind of been a rough few days i thought why not write about it. Get some things off of my mind. Many of you don't know that Braxton and i have struggled with having children. It isn't something that i talk about much because really it could be worse but it something that i always thinking about! Well ever since we were married we knew we wanted a big family so we thought why not start early. We only prevented for about 6 months then decided it was time to start our family. We never really talked about it because we figured it would happen when it would happen. Well about a year later i started to worry so i went to the doctors and they said well nothing is wrong so keep trying. Another year goes by and it really started putting a toll on us. It was hard. It was like i would convince my body that i was pregnant when really i wasn't. I took over 25 pregnancy tests always seeing the one line. We went on vacation and decided it was time to stop worrying about it and just have fun again. Well about a month later i decided to take a test, it was just a ritual by that point and i found out i was pregnant. We were so happy! I took about 7 tests because i was in complete shock! It was a long wait but so worth it! After you have your first baby a lot of times your body with regulate and become normal again. I was far from normal. We decided to not prevent from the beginning and if we had babies 10 months apart then we did. I didn't want to wait 3 years again. When Adee was 15 months i went to the doctor so i could talk to him about getting pregnant because i wanted my babies close. So i got on clomid a fertility drug. You take 5 pills and 15 days later you get your blood drawn to see if you ovulated. So i did that and come to find out i didn't ovulate at all.. again it was hard. So they doubled the dose and i thought for sure it would work this time. Well i just got my results back on Tuesday and NOTHING. So know i we triple the dose and to see if ti does the trick.

 I know that i will have more children whether they be my own or we adopt... but it still hard to take in. I thought i didn't have a problem i just thought the timing was all off and it hard to hear that i do. I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason so i know i need to learn something.. and maybe that something is to cherish the moments i have with Adalee now. I am always thinking about what it will be like to see her as a big sister or how i am ready to be pregnant again and feel the baby move. Really i should just think about now. Think about how big she is getting and how much she is learning. Think about how much happy she makes Braxton and I. I know there is a future for our family. I know we will be blessed with children. I also know that many people have it much worse. Some women can't have children at all. So i am grateful! I have to remember the Lords timetable is defiantly not the same as mine! 

Felt Tree!

Adalee loved her tree. It was really easy to make also. It takes about 1 hour.

All you need is:

1/2 -1 yard of green felt

Several pieces of whatever color felt that you want the ornaments to be.

3 pieces of the felt with sticky backing.

1 piece of yellow felt for the star

White display board  ( folds up on both sides)

Now just trace your Christmas tree out with a white crayon so you can easily see it. Cut it out and hot glue it to the display board. Then cut out the presents using the felt with the sticky backing. This made the presents permanently on there.. nothing on the presents is removable but that was only by choice. I glued on the bow and the dots just to keep the presents in tact. Then you just cut out the ornaments, i just used circles and stars because it was easy. I used cups as templates and a cookie cutter for the star stencil. Felt sticks to felt so you can take the ornaments on and off as many time as you want! Here is the end results.. not perfect but who cares it is cute!

 We made it last night so when she woke up she could play with it.. there was a lot of squealing involved! She loved it and has played with it several times today.

Not Private

Well i was going to make this blog private but it is way to complicated! So i might just put watermark on my photos or whatever it is called.

 The reason i wanted to start a blog is so i can actually remember the stuff that goes on in the Robertson household. Also i am loving pinterest and i am always trying new recipes and i want other people to try them also because they are yummy so i will be posting recipes here as well. I will also be posting some crafts. I am hoping for a sewing machine (hint hint) for Christmas and if i get one then i will be trying my hand at sewing.I just bought the stuff at Hobby Lobby tonight to make Adee a felt Christmas tree to decorate so hopefully it turns out. Braxton is much better at drawing so i am waiting for tomorrow when he will be home to help me. Stay tuned!

The beginning.

 Well Well.. i can't promise that i will keep up with this blog but i defiantly want to try! So an update on what is going on in the Robertson household. Adalee is 18 months now.. and running the house already. She is starting to talk really well and can say many 3 word phrases. Her favorite word being NO. She is really starting with the attitude but Brax and i just laugh. Braxton graduated in April 2012 and is working at Costco. He is currently the Food Court supervisor. I am still at Costco also. They recently opened a new store in Spanish Fork, UT so i work there and Brax is in Orem. I work morning merch and things are good. Braxton is going to go to Law School and i am excited for the new adventure and excited to see where we will end up. And here is a picture for your viewing pleasure!
